Life a Rat Race — The never ending race

Is it the correct way of living the life and if not then what is the correct way.
- Life is full of experiences, this is what LIFE is. Life is a reality which we have to admit like we are born one day and some other day we have to die. The period between this birth and death is what life is. It’s a journey of experiences, some highs and lows, happiness and sorrows and, whatnot. We keep facing and keep moving. In this part of the movement, we have become so obsessed with this rat race that we have forgotten to live life as a journey. Truthfully speaking most of us even don’t know that journey is life. We are running all the time and postponing or delaying our happiness. We have thrown ourselves into this rat race and still, we are not aware of why we are running and killing our lives.
- Imagine when you were a kid you delayed your happiness by saying when I finish school with good grades I will be happy, when I get into college, get a good job, marry or have a child I will be happy. And in the end, when the whole train has passed we realize that we haven’t enjoyed this journey. We are now standing at a platform from where we can’t go back and regret why did I sleep during this journey. All the experiences and the beauty of life be it in the face of happiness or sorrows have passed. When we reach our destination, we don’t celebrate it. We only satisfy our inner concise but in reality, we don’t cherish that achievement.
- What is the point of celebrating your achievements for merely a week, a month, or say a year when you can enjoy it all along the way? The process should be enjoyed, life should be faced as it is and then ultimately, we will be satisfied with our achievement. This is a very big difference which most of us don’t realize. All the hard work done & in the end, the state of happiness for merely a day or two and unfortunately if you fail which most of us face then clouds of failure loom in our lives. Give a thought Why don’t we enjoy the process, why don’t we love the journey.
- Every day from getting up in the morning till sleeping in the night, everything you do is a part of the process. As I said we all are running behind something which we are not even aware of.
- It’s better to live every day of your life as a new challenge and feel the emotions they generate than to a delayed state of emotions wherein the end everything seems only satisfactory to your concise.
- What you call life, is it the luxuries which one can have, is it the money which one can have and buy all the materialistic things. No, I don’t believe in this concept. What is the point of running after the money & luxuries if you can’t maintain proper health and you have to spend all of your money only on your treatment? What is the point of running so ahead that even you can’t concentrate on your family? Yes, money is necessary for a good standard of living and one has to work hard to make that amount of money to fulfil the requirements but Money can’t buy you all the happiness in the world. What the point of being rich if you can’t parent your child. What is the point of having that money which causes you to live in a state of anxiety & stress all time? What is the point of that money if you aren’t aware of the whereabouts of your near and dear ones?
- I have seen this very closely in my life and realized that humans are now only running after money. I was also one of them but thankfully I realized it soon. The morals, ethos, and principles have been rooted out of our systems. We now only focus on getting a good job and keep doing it till we retire. We even don’t bother to change our sedentary lifestyle which we have been following for so many years. Time goes on & on and so as we.
- Talk to yourself how many of you thank god for giving you a good life, good health, lovely companions, and whatnot. Still, we curse for not having enough. We, humans, tend to find errors. We will do things to the best of our capabilities but still tend to point out others. Competition has been a major part of today’s modern change. We don’t focus on becoming better rather focus on the flaws of others.
- Sit back & Give a thought, talk to yourself and ask why to hurry and bury your life. Life is too short to be lived and too big to be cried. It’s better to explore it as you desire not what the world desires.
- One famous line which I love to quote “Many have died at the 30s and buried at 80s.”
- So live your life and forget the rest, there is a great power sitting over us which can do the impossible possible.
